The problem is, we’re both extreamely lenient and indecisive individuals, and we can never decide what to do. Whenever we get together, we always end up watching movies at his house, consecutively, one after another for hours. I surely don’t mind, but I’m paranoid in the sense that I don’t want him to get bored. The only thing locally for us to do is…(what a coincidence) is going to see a movie in theaters. Anything else would have to require getting means of transportation, which isn’t always that easy, considering how we’re only 16.

So could anyone suggest some creative ideas for get togethers? Something really casual, light and easy, considering our age. I would appriciate it very much, and thanks a lot in advance!

I started out with my partner the same way - “I don’t know, what do you want to do?” … It would go on and on like a Laurel&Hardy movie. Eventually, we put a stop to it by flipping a coin - whoever won the toss had to make all the decisions for that date.
After a while, we got tired of that - we soon learn to pipe up and say exactly what we wanted to do that night.
As for creative dates… do you like board games? You could always get some nice ones - perhaps chess, or Jenga, or 30 seconds, or something like that. That’s always fun for me.
What about making something crafty together - does he have any hobbies? Do you have any hobbies? What about an afternoon sharing and teaching each other your hobbies?
