Movie sounds good.
I can’t see how it can possibly be boring if it’s your first date with a guy you like. Group date sounds sincere too. That way if you’re nervous your friends can give you little tips.

If you really want to get to know this guy go to the movies, and maybe go out to eat later on. You can also go to like a amusement park!!

i went to the mall for my first date
then again we weren’t officialy dating at that point
either way, the mall makes for a great place for group dates
and if you think you would be more comfortable / talkative in a group then that would be best
maybe not the movies just cause you can’t talk and get to know him =P
unless you go to dinner too
but then who pays?

roller blading
some type of fair
a funny or horror movie and then a restaurant
have fun!

The first date shouldn’t be something elaborate, cause then what after that? You have a huge expectation for other dates =)
Going somewhere you’ve never been before, like some ethnic resturant or new place for just the two of you…
And the meeting up with a group for a movie later.
When you’re 1st starting dating, group dates are perfect.
Less pressure and SAFER.
