dating ideas

This is my more brief idea of dating. It is just a dreamy philosophical list and not really anything I would demand of anyone. (As you can probably figure out, I spend more time “thinking” of dating than actually dating.)

#1: I’d like her to be able to carry on her end of a conversation instead of just listening to me because I’m never sure if she’s bored or interested.

#2: Just once in a while if she wore something sexy like her shirt tucked in, that’s just something I find attractive and would appreciate if she did it.

#3: If she liked to hold hands and engage in long touches, I would love that. After all, what’s the point in being romantic if all we do is just discuss history or Shakespeare?

#4: I would like it to be a two-way street. I don’t want to be the one who thinks of everything.

#5: I believe there should be no set expectations or strict commitments. Most people think of commitments first and the person second. I believe we should enjoy each other for who we are without putting a leash on each other.

So, what do you think of my list of what I like in women?

I just want to explain that number 6 means that I’m not the marriage type because my lifestyle and financial situation as well as my outlook on marriage would not permit it. However, I am not necessarily AGAINST long-term dating… it is just that I don’t like to make long-goal commitments when tomorrow is another day and we could think differently. In brief, I like having a choice.
